The Granite City downtown "District" is our revitalized downton hub with local shops, movie theatre, and dining. Nearby is the crown jewel, Wilson Park, 74 acres including a paved walking/biking trail, a skateboard park, public pool, indoor open air ice skating rink, tennis and pickle ball courts, and immense green spaces. In the Fall, you can visit Relleke Pumpkin Farm, technically a Granite City address, but closer to Collinsville, It is less than a 1 minute drive from the house. Pumpkin Farm activities and lots of vendors!
Collinsville IL also has a thriving downtown area that hosts several large community events including "ItalianFest" and the annual "Horseradish Festival".

It is renowned as one of the lesser known, yet premier fishing lakes in Illinois, offering abundant Crappie, Bass, Bluegill, and Channel Catfish.The surrounding area boasts numerous hiking trails of varying difficulty levels within the stunning Shawnee National Forest. Visitors can also enjoy the famous Illinois Wine Trail, which feature numerous locally owned wineries, antique shops, and bicycle trails.
